Annual Benefit Enrollment, July 1–31, is the time for employees to review their benefits and consider any changes to make for the FY 2017 plan year, effective September 1, 2016.

The benefits fair will showcase vendors from our Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance plans, Agrilife Extension, Airrosti and Retirement plans.

Airrosti Complimentary Session-Sign Up!

Got Pain? Join Airrosti for a complimentary injury assessments during our Annual Benefits on July 21, 2016.  The assessment will include the following:

Evaluation :     A 10-15 minute complimentary evaluation with an Airrosti Provider
Assessment:   An expert assessment of your injury or any pain-related issues
Review:     A review of findings and discussion of your treatment options

Airrosti providers are experts at accurately diagnosing and rapidly resolving most conditions.
Scheduled assessments will be from 10 a.m. till 3 p.m. at the Central Academic Building, 2nd Floor, Room 220.

Health Care Plan Enhancements for FY 17Announced!

  • Press Release: Enhancements to A&M Care Plan Cut Out-of-Pocket Costs   The increased benefits for employees and retirees is the result of improved performance of the health plan, the impact of employee wellness programs and an increased contribution from the Texas Legislature and System members.  Enhancement Overview:
  • A&M Care Plan:
  • Decrease in office visit copay for primary care and specialist from $30/$45 to $20/$30 respectively.  This means you will save between $10-$15 when you see a doctor.  Preventive services will remain covered at 100%.
  • Decrease in annual deductible from $700 to $400 for services that are subject to the deductible.
  • A&M Care J Plan:
  • Decrease in office visit copay for primary care and specialist from $30/$45 to $20/$30 respectively.  This means you will save between $10-$15 when you see a doctor.  Preventive services will remain covered at 100%.
  • Decrease in annual deductible from $500 to $400 for services that are subject to the deductible.
  • Decrease in coinsurance from 25% to 20% for services subject to coinsurance.
  • A&M Care 65+ Plan:
  • Decrease in annual deductible from $500 to $400 for services that are subject to the deductible.
  • Addition of the Silver Sneakers Fitness Program effective September 1.
