Mission Statement
The Human Resources Department provides strategic employment practices and personnel development to attract, retain, reward, support, and develop the Texas A&M University-San Antonio workforce and promote the university’s mission to build and support a solid foundation for success. 

Annual Notification to Employees
All Texas A&M University-San Antonio (A&M-SA) employees need to be aware of Federal and State laws, System policies and regulations, and A&M-SA rules and procedures that affect them in the workplace. The Annual Notification to Employees was emailed as a PDF attachment to all employee on December 3, 2019. 

Notice to Texas A&M University-San Antonio Prospective Employees
Texas A&M University-San Antonio's Campus Security Police and Campus Crime and Fire Statistics Report is published annually on October 1 and includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on-campus and the campus fire log; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by Texas A&M University-San Antonio; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus. The report also includes institutional policies concerning campus security, fire safety, sexual assault, and other matters. Staff Performance Reviews Begin June 1, 2020

It is time once again for annual staff performance reviews.

Our staff performance reviews will be completed in Workday. The process begins with each staff member completing the employee self-evaluation, followed by the supervisor completing the manager evaluation.

The most important component of this process is the dialogue between the supervisor and employee. All managers will meet with their employees to discuss improvements, accomplishments and plan professional development.

The evaluation period is based on an employee’s performance beginning April 1, 2019, ending August 31, 2020.

All staff employees will see the self-evaluation in their Workday inbox beginning June 1, 2020.

Deadline dates for performance review steps:

  • June 1, 2020 - Self-Evaluations are available in Workday inbox
  • June 19, 2020 - Self-Evaluation completed
  • June 20, 2020 - July18, 2020– Manager completes employee evaluation
  • July 19, 2020 - August 8, 2020- Manager reviews evaluation with employee
  • Beginning August 9th -Employee acknowledges and Manager acknowledges evaluation
  • All evaluations finalized in Workday as of August 14, 2020.
